March is the month of Milano-Sanremo, the Spring Classic that once opened the world racing season. To the month of Sanremo AcdB dedicates a series of initiatives and events celebrating stories of bicycles and champions who contributed to make the classic race great, organized by La Gazzetta dello Sport onSaturday 17 March 2018.

On the occasion of the Milano-Sanremo edition number 109 AcdB presents a very special exhibition: from 1 to 14 March 2018 at the museum of Palazzo del Monferrato arrives the exhibition Campionissime Biciclette, exhibition at museo AcdB in the corridor of the bikes of the Campionissimi Girardengo, Coppi, Bartali and the rainbow jersey of Eddy Merckx, the one of his sixth Sanremo (loan of the Museo del Ghisallo of Rossana and Roberto Albani).

From 1 to 31 March 2018 | Put a guide (Meazzo) at Museo AcdB. Guided March: at Museo AcdB every Friday afternoon (open from 4pm to 7pm) Giovanni Meazzo, the collector from Alessandria, heroic cyclist of the early Fausto epic Coppi, will be the special guide for the visitors of Museo AcdB, to tell in a personal way the stories of the bicycles kept in the permanent exhibition of Palazzo del Monferrato.

With a special focus on the bikes that made the history of three great champions: Costante Girardengo's bike (from the Meazzo collection) and those that raced together in 1949 on the roads of the Giro and the Tour: the Bianchi of Coppi and the Santa Maria of Bartali (both from the private collection of Gianfranco Trevisan - his website HERE).

At the same time, from 4 March to Museo del Ciclismo Madonna del Ghisallo of Magreglio (Como) the main corridor of the exhibition area will be set up with a temporary photographic exhibition dedicated to the Milano-Sanremo from the archives of Vito Liverani, the Torriani family and de La Gazzetta dello Sport.
