In accordance with government regulations for the containment and management of the epidemiological emergency from COVID-19, Museo AcdB remains closed until 3 December 2020. The virtual exhibitions will not close. Twinned more than ever with Museo del Ciclismo Madonna del Ghisallo in Magreglio and the latest one celebrates 100 years of Fiorenzo Magni the Magnificent
As usual, Museo del Ciclismo Madonna del Ghisallo in Magreglio, Como, has closed its doors for the summer season and will reopen on 2 March 2021. But in fact the museum did not close at all, as it did during the first lockdown, which coincided with its most important months (of attendance).
To stay open and connected, what did he do? He transformed himself into a large digital community and invented a new way of using the museum. By activating special digital contents including real exhibitions that through innovative software allow you to emulate the visit of an exhibition.
Total digital. But with one more card: the possibility to use and make available to the visitor an immense - practically infinite - archive of digital images without distorting them, respecting copyrights, valuing contents related to documentation through films, interviews, collections of articles and argued texts...
The thematic review becomes so deep and easy to consult at the same time, through a real art path. Like entering one or more rooms of an exhibition. Allowing the visit to last as long as you want. Digital magic.
This was done with the first exhibition dedicated to the first rivalry in history, that between Cuniolo and Gerbi, launched by Alessandria Città delle Biciclette at this link https://virtualtour.linelab.net/virtuals/gerbicuniolo/
The Alexandrian museum that tells the story of the first bike that arrived in Italy - in 1867 in Alessandria where the cycling federation was also born and many other things - is twinned with the Ghisallo Museum in Magreglio and has realized with it a second digital exhibition (they are technically called connected digital cameras) dedicated to the centenary of Fiorenzo Magni https://virtualtour.linelab.net/virtuals/magni/.
The homage to Magni digital is entitled MAGNIFIC as the exhibition set up in paper and memorabilia at the Ghisallo Museum, the first historical exhibition on Fiorenzo Magni, recently opened at the Museum and which will reopen in spring - In the meantime, nothing stops, and everything pedals here too: online, just get on the saddle of a link...
The MAGNIFIC year is not yet over, in fact it has just begun. Continue to follow us here and on the AcdBMuseo.it website, also on the social media site.
